Grids - Garden Planning

Drawing a grid and mapping the plans for your garden is one of the best ways to prepare for the Spring. The whole process of mapping will really help you visualize and better prepare for all of the work ahead.

-Start by measuring your plot.
-Now, create a grid where every small square is a square foot. I usually use 1 cm= 1sq/ft
-Decide where the North side of your garden is, and plan to grow plants vertically there, as to not shade the rest of the garden.
-Discover how much space each plant needs, research some companion planting, and plot everything on your map.
-Make sure you have a good eraser... you're gonna need it.
